Whereis the temp sensor located on the 4.2. I didnt see it anywhere. It was really easy to change on the b5 but I could see it. Onthe AEB, the oil temp sensor is a separate 1-wire sensor that is on the oil filter housing/flange. ^Don't listen to this guy, he's not even a mechanic. It's located on the oil filter housing, iirc. (DBC anyhow) On the drive by wire 1.8T's, the oil temp sensor is in the pan - integral to the oil level sensor.
